1. Information Collection Overview

General. CaliberVantage collects personal information when you register with CaliberVantage, when you use CaliberVantage products and services, and when you visit CaliberVantage pages or the pages of certain CaliberVantage partners. CaliberVantage may combine information about you that we have with information we obtain from business partners or other companies. When you register or update your profile we ask for information such as your name, email address, gender, ZIP code, occupation, industry, and work history. In addition, users of CaliberVantage’s applications may also provide information relating to your training and performance, including data related to your certifications, competencies and job performance. For some financial products and services we might also ask for your address and payment information. CaliberVantage automatically receives and records information from your computer and browser, including your IP address, CaliberVantage cookie information, general web usage information, browser type, operating system, domain name, referring domains, general demographic information, software and hardware attributes, the page you request, entry page, exit page, and average time on the web site. This information is used for internal purposes to help improve our web site and helps us understand our visitor’s needs.

E-mail addresses – We do not collect e-mail addresses without the site visitor voluntarily providing us with this information (typically via our online information request form, and other web site forms and surveys). a. General – CaliberVantage works with vendors, partners, advertisers, and other service providers in different industries and categories of business. CaliberVantage uses information for the following general purposes: to customize the advertising and content you see, fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting.

CaliberVantage uses the personal information it collects for purposes of administering our business activities, providing customer service, and making available other products and services to our customers and prospective customers. We use the personal information you give us to provide you with up-to-date information about CaliberVantage’s products and services. Occasionally, we may also use the information we collect to notify you about important changes to our website, and new services and special offers we think you will find valuable.

CaliberVantage reserves the right to display targeted advertisements based on personal information. We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the CaliberVantage service, such as service announcements, administrative messages and the CaliberVantage Newsletter, that are considered part of your CaliberVantage account, without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them.

b. Protecting your information – We limit access to personal information about you to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs.
